Chip Description
The EG1182 is a 48V battery-powered step-down DC-DC power management chip that integrates a reference voltage source, oscillator, error amplifier, over-temperature protection, current limiting protection, and short-circuit protection. It is ideal for high-voltage (60V) applications.
The EG1182 is used in 48V electric vehicle controller systems. It can directly replace LM317, LM7815, or resistor-type step-down linear voltage regulators. It features high efficiency and high reliability, significantly reducing the overall controller temperature and enabling more reliable system operation.
