Product Model: LP8776CD
LP8776CD is an isolated multi-mode PWM controller suitable for 65W PD applications. The LP8776CD detects the platform voltage of the feedback winding DET to determine VCSMAX and FMAX; it uses a unique high-low voltage output current compensation method, so that the output overcurrent (IOCP) does not change with the input voltage. The chip uses a multi-mode PWM control method: peak current control mode is used; the frequency is increased during overload to increase the overload output current (PeakLoad function), and the frequency is reduced below medium load to improve average efficiency. Under light load or no load, the system operates in burst mode. The chip uses a unique frequency jitter technology to improve EMI performance. The LP8776CD has multiple protection functions, including VCC undervoltage protection, VCC overvoltage protection, output overload protection, output short-circuit protection, output synchronous rectification short-circuit protection, output overvoltage protection, CS resistor short-circuit protection, input undervoltage protection, externally programmable OTP protection, and built-in overtemperature protection. The LP8776CD is packaged in SOT23-6L.
