CN5502
Overview CN5502 is a constant current output integrated circuit operating at 4V to 32V, capable of providing up to 1 ampere of current to one or more high-brightness LEDs. CN5502 sets the LED current through a current sensing resistor connected in series with the LED. The dimming control input pin and the internal 130Hz PWM signal generation circuit allow dimming using analog and PWM signals. Analog dimming can achieve theater dimming effects. CN5502 integrates a high-voltage MOS transistor, reducing the number of external components. The LED current accuracy is 5%, making it ideal for applications driving high-brightness LEDs with high input voltage. The EQ pin of CN5502 can achieve current balancing when multiple CN5502s are used in parallel. Other functions include 5V voltage regulator output and thermal modulation. CN5502 is available in an 8-pin eSOP package with enhanced heat dissipation.
