Overview: CN3152 is an integrated circuit that can manage the constant current/constant voltage charging of a single-cell lithium battery. The device includes internal power transistors and does not require external current sensing resistors or current limiting diodes. CN3152 requires very few external components, making it ideal for portable applications. CN3152 constant voltage charging voltage is 4.2V, with an accuracy of 1%. The charging current is set by an external resistor. The thermal modulation circuit can control the chip temperature within a safe range when the device power consumption is high or the ambient temperature is high. When the input voltage is cut off, CN3152 automatically enters a low-power sleep mode, with a battery current consumption of less than 3 microamps. Other functions include input undervoltage latch, automatic recharging, chip enable input, battery temperature monitoring, and status indication. CN3152 uses a heat-enhanced 8-pin small outline package (SOP8).
