IP5428
IP5428 is a multi-functional power management SOC that integrates a boost converter, lithium battery charge management, and battery power indication, providing a complete solution for TWS charging cases. Thanks to the high integration and rich functions of IP5428, only a minimal number of external components are required during application, effectively reducing the overall size of the solution and lowering the BOM cost. IP5428 only needs one inductor to achieve boost and buck functions, supporting low-cost inductors and capacitors. The synchronous boost system of IP5428 provides a rated output current of 300mA, with a conversion efficiency as high as 94%. IP5428 adopts switch charging technology, providing a maximum rated charging current of 1A, with a charging efficiency as high as 90%. It has built-in chip temperature protection and intelligent input voltage regulation charging current. IP5428 can realize TWS earphone in-case detection. After detecting that the earphones are in the case, it automatically enters the earphone charging mode. After the earphones are fully charged, it automatically enters the sleep state, and the static current can be reduced to as low as 10uA. IP5428 supports 1/2 LED power display.
