IP2366

The IP2366 is a lithium battery charge and discharge management chip that integrates input and output fast charging protocols such as AFC/FCP/PD2.0/PD3.0/PD3.1 and a synchronous step-up/step-down converter. It boasts a charge and discharge power of up to 140W. The IP2366's high integration and rich features, requiring only one inductor to achieve synchronous step-up and step-down functionality, minimize the need for external components in applications, effectively reducing the overall solution size and BOM cost. The IP2366 supports 2/3/4/5/6 series-connected cells and allows selection of the number of series-connected batteries via external resistors. The battery type can also be set via external resistors, with full voltage options of 3.65V/4.1V/4.2V/4.35V/4.4V. The IP2366 incorporates IC temperature, battery NTC temperature, and input voltage control detection loops. It intelligently adjusts the charging current based on the detected charger power. The IP2366 supports a low-power mode, reducing standby current to 5μA. In low-power mode, inserting a charger automatically wakes the device for charging; a short button press is required to wake the device for discharging. The IP2366 includes a 14-bit ADC for precise measurement of input voltage and current, battery voltage and current, etc. Charge and discharge voltage, charging current, and other information can be obtained via I2C. The IP2366 supports 4 battery level indicator lights to display battery level and charge/discharge status.
