IP2112
IP2112, IP2112A, IP2111, IP2111A, and IP2110 are charging protocol ICs for USB output ports. Supported charging protocols include: Apple 2.4A/2.1A/1.0A, Samsung 2.0A, and BC1.2. IP2112 and IP2112A support dual-port USB charging protocols; IP2111, IP2111A, and IP2110 support single-port USB charging protocols; IP2110 supports SEL pin configuration for Apple's maximum allowable current request. The chip supports automatic detection of connected devices and automatically provides the correct electrical characteristics on the data lines to achieve protocol handshake.
