IP5189T
The IP5189T is a multi-functional power management SOC that integrates a boost converter, lithium battery charging management, and battery power indication. It provides a complete power solution for mobile power supplies. The high integration and rich features of the IP5189T allow it to use very few external components in applications, effectively reducing the overall solution size and BOM cost. The IP5189T uses only one inductor to achieve buck and boost functions. It supports low-cost inductors and capacitors. The IP5189T's synchronous boost system provides a 2.1A output current with a conversion efficiency as high as 92%. When idle, it automatically enters sleep mode, and the quiescent current drops to below 100uA. The IP5189T uses switch charging technology to provide a 2.1A current with a charging efficiency as high as 91%. It intelligently adjusts the charging current based on the IC temperature and input voltage. The IP5189T allows external PIN selection of the battery power curve for precise battery power display. It supports 4, 3, 2, and 1 LED power displays and lighting functions. The IP5189T uses a QFN24 (4*4mm) package.
