IP5358
The IP5358 is a highly integrated power management SOC that supports multiple fast charging protocols, including QC2.0/QC3.0/SCP/VOOC output, FCP/AFC/SFCP input/output, MTK PE+ 1.1&2.0 output, USB C/PD2.0/PD3.0 input/output, and USB C PD3.0 PPS output. It is compatible with BC1.2, Apple, and Samsung phones. It also includes synchronous step-up/step-down converters, lithium battery charging management, and battery level indication. It provides a complete power solution for fast-charging power banks. It supports four USB ports: two USB A ports, one USB B port, and one USB C port. Each port supports fast charging individually; however, when two or more ports are used simultaneously, only 5V is supported. The IP5358's high integration and rich features allow for step-down and step-up functions with only one inductor, requiring minimal external components. This significantly reduces the overall solution size and BOM cost. The IP5358's synchronous switching boost system provides a maximum output power of 18W, maintaining over 90% efficiency even at low battery voltages. It automatically enters sleep mode when idle. The IP5358's synchronous switching charging system provides a charging current of up to 5.0A. It incorporates IC temperature, battery temperature, and input voltage control loops to intelligently adjust the charging current. The IP5358 integrates USB C & PD2.0/PD3.0 protocols. It also includes a 14-bit ADC for precise measurement of battery voltage and current, and a battery power calculation method for accurate battery level information. The battery power curve can be customized for precise battery level display. The IP5358 supports 1/2/4 LED battery level indicators, various digital tube displays (such as 88, 188), lighting functions, and button support.
