IP5566
IP5566 is a multi-functional power management SOC that integrates a boost converter, lithium battery charge management, battery power indication, and wireless charging transmission control. It provides a complete solution for wireless charging power banks. The high integration and rich functions of IP5566 allow it to use only a few external components during application, significantly reducing the overall size of the solution and lowering the BOM cost. IP5566 only needs one inductor to achieve buck and boost functions, supporting low-cost inductors and capacitors. The synchronous boost system of IP5566 provides a rated 3A output current with a conversion efficiency as high as 93%. When idle, it automatically enters sleep mode, and the static current drops to within 150uA. IP5566 uses switch charging technology, providing a charging current of 3A (Type-C input)/2A (micro-B input), with a charging efficiency as high as 92%. It has built-in IC temperature and input voltage intelligent adjustment of charging current. IP5566 integrates a 5W wireless charging transmitter controller, compatible with the latest WPC Qi v1.2.4 standard. IP5566 integrates a full-bridge drive circuit for wireless charging and a voltage & current dual-channel ASK communication demodulation module. IP5566 has a built-in 14bit ADC, which can accurately measure battery voltage and current. IP5566 supports 4/3/2/1 LED power display and flashlight functions, and supports 2/1 wireless charging status indicator lights.
