Product Introduction:
The FT8395 is a primary-side feedback control chip used in high-performance constant voltage and constant current chargers and adapters. The primary-side feedback topology simplifies circuit design, eliminating the need for optocouplers and TL431, thus reducing material costs. The chip operates in quasi-resonant (QR) and adaptive PFM modes, enabling the system to meet Level VI energy efficiency standards. Internal frequency dithering technology simplifies EMI processing.
The FT8395 offers numerous protection features, such as cycle-by-cycle peak current limiting and constant current control to ensure overcurrent protection under heavy loads, overtemperature protection, and overvoltage protection; undervoltage lockout on the FB pin allows the system to quickly shut down in case of anomalies and restart promptly once the anomaly is resolved.
