The SY5701 is a small, low-RON, ultra-low-power, fast-switching load switch supporting a maximum current of 1A. Its operating current of less than 20nA makes it suitable for power-sensitive applications such as smartwatches and fitness trackers. The SY5701 incorporates a 60mΩ (typical application) P-channel MOSFET and operates with an input voltage ranging from 1.1V to 5.5V. The switch is controlled via the EN pin; a low control voltage of 1V is sufficient to activate the switch, supporting 1.2V I/O control applications. The EN pin has an internal intelligent pull-down resistor; when EN is not pulled high, a typical 500kΩ resistor to ground is connected to ensure the EN pin state. When the EN pin rises, the pull-down resistor is disconnected to ensure low power consumption. The SY5701 incorporates turn-on speed control to suppress inrush current while enabling fast switching. The typical output turn-on time is 100µs. The SY5701 is available in a FOCSP-4 package (0.76mm*0.76mm, 0.4mm pitch) and also supports a DFN-1mm*1mm-4L small package.
