The SY5401 is a peak current mode controlled asynchronous buck DC/DC converter that can provide a 3A output current. The SY5401 can operate within a wide input voltage range of 5V to 100V
and integrates a main switch with ultra-low RDS(ON) to minimize conduction losses. The regulator features an ultra-low 15uA quiescent current in shutdown mode, extending battery life. Internal
loop compensation means users do not have to undertake the tedious work of designing loop compensation components, and it also minimizes the external
components of the IC. The switching frequency can be adjusted within the range of 200kHz to 500kHz using an external resistor. In addition, the device has multiple built-in protection functions: cycle-by-cycle peak current limit protection (current limit typically 5A), thermal shutdown protection, and overvoltage and undervoltage protection.
