The SY9601 is a current-limiting chip that integrates Type-C and BC1.2 protocols. Its output current limit is adjustable, and it integrates a PMOS switch with a maximum current limit of 3A. It supports the BC1.2 protocol on D+/D-, automatically identifying Apple, Samsung, and other mobile phones to ensure maximum power charging. The SY9601 supports Type-C output; when a CC connection is detected, the current-limiting switch opens, and the device's maximum output current capability is declared. The SY9601 is available in ESOP8 or DFN10 packages.
